Discussion Paper

During the conference in Amsterdam participants were invited to take part in a discussion on teacher quality and standards. Starting point for this discussion was a paper written by the Academic Committee. In this paper the Academic Commitee presented a number of statements concerning the quality of teachers and standards for teachers. In group discussions and RDC-meetings participants reflected on these statements, with the results of these reflections posted on a public poster wall in the main hall of the conference venue. On the closing day of the conference the Academic Committee presented a summary of the overall outcomes of the discussion.
